Born and raised in the Mid-West, Christina is daughter to author and publisher Catherine Gregory Blackford and retired Professor Leslie D. Blackford, Ph.D.
Christina received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Political Science at Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois. Graduating magna cum laude, she also earned her certification in Urban Studies. Christina then attended the University of Illinois College of Law where she met and married her husband, Andrew Lesko, Esq. While in law school, she served as a writer and editor of the Illinois Bar Update and was both a participant in and executive editor of Jessup International Moot Court. She interned for the Cook County State's Attorney's Office and for the Honorable Joseph Van Bokkelen, federal district judge for the Northern District of Indiana. Graduating summa cum laude and Order of the Coif, Christina is presently serving in a two-year federal judicial clerkship.
As a personal friend of both Katy and Peter, Christina is a passionate supporter and active participant in their joint endeavor to serve veterans, educators, and first responders.
